Ostend District of Frankfurt


The Ostend is one of the District of Frankfurt. This is one of the districts that has border along with the River Main.  The area that is cover by this District is 6.432 KM 2 and the postal codes that are allowed to this area are 60314, 60316, and 60385 and the area code for this district is 069. This district is also very famous for the brothels. The famous building in this district is Sachsenhausen. The Ostend is a district of Frankfurt. It grew out of the so-called outer eastern city that is in the 19th Century developed.

Population 

Compared to other inner-city neighborhoods such as the West or Northrend Ostend is the near east side and Grossmarkthalle working-class neighborhood, so the prosperity of the people of the East End still low.
